Changes at Paddington Part 10
Regarding the proposed closure of the London and Thames Valley Ticket Office, I am told there is still no further news regarding the consultation that was meant to be given to staff of the office last week. I was told this was delayed due to involvement from Chiltern Railways, but there is no further information as yet. Will update once again when more is known.

Toilets at Paddington
From 7th July 2008 the price of using the toilets in Paddington will rise to 30p, this is in line with other Network Rail managed stations. Network Rail say that all money goes towards the maintenance and cleaning of the toilets.

Your questions to Andrew Haines, Chief Operating Officer
Andrew Haines will appear before Reading Borough Council’s corporate, community and external affairs scrutiny panel to talk about Reading to London services.

Councillors requested the meeting with Mr Haines in February to discuss the performance and price of train services.

The meeting will take place in the Town Hall’s Victoria Hall in Blagrave Street at 7pm on tomorrow, Thursday 3rd July.

If passengers cannot make the meeting but would like to submit a question, visit http://www.reading.gov.uk and follow the links.

Go-by-train.co.uk
This is a new site being developed, which looks like it will have great potential. From the bits I was allowed to see, will certainly be beneficial to people. For more info go to http://www.go-by-train.co.uk and follow the contact links to send queries to the development team.
